Could this Bears team be poised for an NFC championship run?

Bears poised for title run?
With Newcomer Jay Cutler, a multitude of talented draft picks, and significant free agent signings, the Chicago Bears are poised to make a run at the NFC championship. In addition to Jay Cutler the Bears also Drafted talented youngsters such as, Jarron Gilbert, D.J Moore, Johnny Knox, Juquin Iglesias, Henry Melton, and Al Alfalava. This draft could prove to be one of the most productive in Bears history, as they filled many needs with talented prospects. Possibly the most exciting picks are that of Jarron Gilbert, who was made famous on youtube with a video of him jumping out of a pool, D.J Moore, who in college excelled at any position he was played, and that of Johnny Knox, whose mix of speed, concentration, hands, and catch radius make him an elite threat with Jay Cutler at QB. With these picks playing the Bears have an elite corps of rookies that are just waiting to play. As for free agent signings, the Bears did not make many, yet the ones they made are significant. They signed OL Orlando Pace, a future HOF player to play tackle. They also signed LB Pisa Tinoisamoa who figures to start at OLB this year. Then of course is the new QB. With the addition of Jay Cutler the bears have the first franchise QB in years and have someone to lead them to a championship. With these additions the Bears are potentially the top team in the NFC, let alone the NFC north. There are however question marks that have skeptics talking. With a young group of receivers the Bears are naturally questioned about their receivers. The answer to this question should be found by mid-season because of the uncertainty of training camp. Another question mark is: how will the Defense preform with new D-Line coach Rod Marinelli? This answer should be found during the preseason in about the second week. These question cast a shadow over a very solid Bears team. Look for the Bears to preform in 2009.
