Fight Night Round 4
After playing Fight Night Round 4 for about a month now. It is safe to say that this is the best sports game I have ever played. Now, I haven't played a ton of sports video games, but take my word for it this is a fantastic game. After a month of playing it, it still hasn't gotten old and it keeps getting better and better.
The Legacy Mode is very fun and indepth. You start off by creating a fighter (and it could look like you if you want it to with the new Gameface option) it is very detailed from your name to hometown to your ring walk music to the style of gloves you can wear. The only negative about this is the lack of facial hair and hair style you can choose from. There isn't too much variety, but it still isn't too bad. From there you start off your career by joining an Amateur Tournament. There are 4 possible fights you can have, after winning the forth fight you got yourself an Amateur Belt. Once you turn pro you are ranked 50th and from there you can work your way up and try to win all three titles in your weight division. If you want a real challenge move the difficulty to the G.O.A.T mode. The G.O.A.T level is very realistic and the fighters like Ali or Tyson will fight like Ali or Tyson.
Now, let's go
to the Online Mode. The EA Sports crew added a different twist to things. There is an option to play the World Online Championship. It's basically like the Legacy Mode, but it's online. You have to create a Boxer and use him in the World Championship Mode. There are three weight classes online (Lightweight, Middleweight, and Heavyweight) If you don't want to fight for the World Championship you can still do the normal ranked/unranked fights.
Finally, we go to the other things avaliable in the game. You can make tons of Boxers (I believe you can make up to 25 or 30 Boxers) and a lot of the Boxers look very realistic using the Gameface tool. I have made tons of Boxers from Gene Tunney to Jack Dempsey to Jose Luis Castillo to Arthur Abraham. It is a great feature. As I said earlier in teh article the G.O.A.T. level is very realistic and you will not get bored if you fight on this level. Also, there will be Downloadable Content in the game like for all you button mashers, buttons will be in the game. For the X Box 360 users there will be an alternate Sugar Ray Leonard.
In conclusion, this game is terrific you will not get bored at all. The graphics are amazing, the T.V. presentation makes it more realistic along with Joe Tessitore and Teddy Atlas announcing. It is an amazing game and you won't be disappointed.
